OUR MISSION & VISION

Our Mission

Mental Health and Jesus exists to bridge the gap between faith and mental health by helping individuals find hope and healing, equipping families to support loved ones, and training church and ministry leaders to respond to mental health challenges with compassion and understanding.

Our Vision

To see individuals, churches, and communities transformed through a deeper understanding of mental health and a restored relationship with Jesus Christ.

Our Foundational Scripture

“Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.” — Romans 12:2 (ESV)

Renewal begins as we allow God to transform the way we think and live. At Mental Health and Jesus, we believe people can pursue spiritual growth while honestly addressing mental and emotional struggles, receiving compassionate community support, and seeking appropriate mental-health care when needed.

The Heart Behind the Ministry

Mental Health and Jesus grew from a desire to help people navigate real mental and emotional struggles without feeling alone or ashamed. We believe people deserve space to be honest about what they are facing, to encounter the truth and compassion of Jesus Christ, and to find practical mental health education alongside caring community support.

Our approach brings faith and mental health conversations together. We recognize that professional mental health care can be an important part of someone's support system, and we do not believe people should have to choose between growing in their relationship with Jesus and seeking help for mental health challenges.

Our hope is to welcome individuals, families, churches, and ministry leaders with understanding, wisdom, and compassion as they continue learning how to respond to these real-life struggles. We are committed to honest conversations that reduce shame and remind people they do not have to face these challenges alone.

Our Vision & Values

Faith-Centered Healing

Exploring emotional and spiritual well-being through the truth of Jesus Christ, practical mental health education, personal reflection, and appropriate professional support. Faith is part of the conversation, not a promise of guaranteed recovery.

Authentic Community

Creating compassionate, shame-free spaces where people can speak honestly about real struggles, listen with care, and support one another with understanding and healthy boundaries.

Truth-Based Education

Equipping individuals, families, churches, and ministry leaders with practical mental health education that can be considered alongside biblical wisdom and professional care when appropriate.
